Suggestions

1. CLOTHING

Adventurers/hikers should always wear light clothing, preferably long-sleeved shirts, long shorts or thermal shorts, or leggings or long pants for adventure trails. Have a hat, cap or visor handy. Always wear mid-length or long socks. Avoid heavy clothing (such as jeans or sweatshirts), as well as short socks. Keep in mind the importance of footwear to practice the activity with comfort and safety. It is suggested to wear hiking boots or sneakers with cleats. Avoid leather shoes, sneakers with smooth soles or open sandals. Never go hiking barefoot .

2. HYDRATION

Before embarking on an adventure trail, every adventurer/hiker should drink plenty of water or natural juices. During the journey, each adventurer/hiker should carry their own personal hydration supply of one liter of drinking water, preferably carrying a hydration backpack to keep their hands free during the hike. Drinking isotonic drinks and/or coconut water is recommended at this stage. Avoid carbonated water, "detox" juice-type drinks, caffeinated drinks (energy drinks) and soft drinks. Always give preference to drinking drinking water (natural and still).

3. FOOD

On an individual basis, each adventurer/hiker should eat normally at least one hour before starting the trail. Eat fruits and natural energy foods (fiber, carbohydrates and proteins). Vegetarian or vegan adventurers/hikers should consume appropriate foods and, if necessary, take a portion with them on the adventure trail. Cereal bars, protein bars and energy gels are essential in the hiker's backpack. On this day, it is not recommended to diet or fast. The calorie expenditure will be intense. Without energy, you cannot do an adventure trail. Eat well.

4. HEALTH

Going on an adventure trail renews your strength and recharges your energy. However, it is important to take care of your health, especially regarding your health (body and mind). Always check whether the adventure trail is compatible with your physical condition. If the adventurer/hiker is taking specific medication or has any health restrictions, inform the guide/instructor and collaborators of your restrictions before starting the hike. Disconnect from your routine problems and connect with the most beautiful things that come with being in contact with nature and new friends. " Mens sana in corpore sano " ("a healthy mind in a healthy body") and let's hike in good health and have lots of fun.

5. CHILDREN

Adventurers/hikers should avoid taking children under 8 years of age along on the adventure trail. If there is a child participating, the person responsible should prepare them with appropriate clothing, sunscreen and repellents suitable for their age and, during the hike, instruct them not to be isolated from the group, especially at waterfalls, viewpoints and lakes. Remember that we are in a forest environment with a high probability of being bitten by mosquitoes, ticks and insects that can cause problems for a child if bitten.

6. WEATHER FORECAST

Always keep in mind the weather forecast on the day of the event. Check the maximum and minimum temperatures for the day. On sunny days, protect yourself from direct sunlight and check the UV index for the day. Given this, it is advisable to use adequate sunscreen and clothing with a UV protection factor. The use of sunglasses is recommended. Avoid wearing glasses with yellow lenses. On the other hand, check if there is a forecast of rain and decide whether to abort the tour or get wet on the trail. Always keep safety in mind. The adventurer/hiker should use sunscreen on cloudy days and appropriate clothing for cold and rainy days.

7. TELEFONIA MÓVEL
There is usually no signal for mobile devices while hiking. Charge your batteries to 100% and, if possible, bring a charged portable charger to take beautiful photos along the way. Always remember to leave your location activated, as GPS works even when your device is in airplane mode. Turn off social media and connect with the greenery of nature.
